Dear Students,
Welcome to Grade 2 Mathematics. Our goal for this grade is to Addition, Subtraction, and Multiplication facts.
Please remember, when you start learning a new concept, it's perfectly okay to go slow. There's absolutely no point rushing in - the important point is to understand the concept and to use it for solving problems. So take your time and go thru every lesson. Some of the topics you might already know and it's perfectly alright to skip them. However, we encourage that you watch the videos as a review session. Often times your teacher will show you some tricks and also will talk about where and how a concept is used in real life.
You also have so many other things to learn in grade 2, so we suggest you spend just 30 min in learning mathematics. If you give your best just for 30 min, you will find that Mathematics is so easy - it's just a collection of a few rules! that's all.
If you have any questions ask your parents to write to us. We are here to help and will make sure that you will get all the help to understand a concept fully.

Addition

Our goal is to learn and master how to add two small numbers. We’ll learn addition using pictures, fingers, and also without writing anything down!
There are 34 video lessons in this course. You should try to do just 2 lessons every day (15 – 20 min). With just 20 min a day, you will master addition in just 17 days. It’s that easy.

Our goal is to master addition by carrying a number over. We’ll also master adding numbers bigger than 10 and 100.
There are 18 lessons in this course. If you do just 1 unit every day, you’ll master addition in just 18 days! That’s almost half of a month!
